
Hasan and Ruksan are a couple who escaped from the civil war in Syria to Turkey. They dream of going to Europe from Çeşme by boat. Ruksan learns how to swim in case something happens during the escape.

SERPİL ALTIN
Serpil Altın graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Cinema and TV. After graduation she worked in movies, series and commercials. Her short film, “Bayram Harçlığı”, was screened in many festivals. In 2016 she founded Serpil Altın Film and produced two films, “Kızkaçıran” and “Cenaze İşleri”. She continues working in films as producer, director and script writer. Her filmography includes, Yüzme Öğreniyorum (short, 2017), Cenaze İşleri (fiction feature, 2017), Kızkaçıran (producer - fiction feature, 2016), Bayram Harçlığı (short, 2014), Asansör (short, 2009), Soygun (short, 2008), Geleceğe Yolculuk (short, 2002), Ben Giderim Adım Kalır (documentary, 2002), Benim Sinemalarım (documentary, 2001), Bozuk Kanal (video art, 2001).
