Synopsis

Mehmet Kuşman has worked as a watchman for 52 years at Çavuştepe Fortress, within the borders of Van, Gürpınar. He learned the Urartian language and its alphabet all by himself. He is one of the only 38 people in the world who can speak the language, and the only person in the world who can write the cuneiform on the stone. Mehmet Kuşman is determined to continue his duty of 52 years until his death.


Fuat DEMİRHAN

Fuat DemirhanFuat Demirhan was born in 1985 in Van. He attended elementary and secondary school in Van. In 2005, he started studying at Mersin University. He also finished Ankara Sinematek’s cinema school. In 2005 he finished his first short film, “Bırak Gayri Uçam”. In 2009, he finished his feature film script, “Hoşçakal Sanat Tiyatrosu”. He currently works on his dissertation on the history of  Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.
