Kulkedisi Degiliz | Ain't No Cinderellas

Synopsis

"Housekeeper", Emel Celebi's documentary in 2006, told the story of women making their living by cleaning other people's houses. "Ain't No Cinderellas" continues to tell the stories of these women, who work in jobs for years with no social security, have occupational accidents, become disabled, and even die by falling from windows while cleaning. This is the story of women, who have been invisible because they do an invisible work, and their struggle to establish a union by fighting for their rights through demonstrations in buses, squares, market places, as well as outside the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, chanting "Tale is over! We ain't no Cinderallas, we are laborers! We want our rights!'...
