Dalgaya Direnmek | Resisting the Waves

Synopsis

"Some leave themselves to the waves, some resist." This is what Hüseyin, a fisherman in a smalltown of Karaburun fishing with bottom mets, says. Hüseyin is 64 years old, yet he has the eyes of an eagle, the courage and personality tough as the North winds, who deserves to be called the "best fisherman" of the peninsula.
This 2-episode documentary, containing docudrama and underwater shots, is about the struggle of the fish for not to be caught by the net, and the struggle of the old fisherman against the time, place and rough environmental conditions.
