Hoşyar Ali lives in the Kurdish region of Iraq. He voluntarily cleans the mines in the Iran-Iraq border. He lost his son and brother, and he lost both his legs because of mine explosions. He welcomed the documentary team to his home where he exhibits more than 2,368,000 mines which he collected.


Haydar DemirtasHaydar Demirtaş was born in Kocasırt village of Mardin in 1984. He studied in Mardin. He ran in athletics first league for four years. He attended cinema workshops of BBC which was organized by Mardin Youth and Culture House. He was a volunteer for Habitat and Günden 21 for 6 years. He attended Kent Film Evleri workshop organized by İstanbul Kültür University in 2005-2006. He received full scholarship from the Department of Communication and Design in the Faculty of Art and Design, where he graduated in 2010. He continues to work in cinema in Mardin. He received many awards with his first short film "Gezici Nalbant" (Mobile Blacksmith) and his first drama/documentary, telling story of his father, "Babam Tarih Yapıyor” (My Father Makes History). His next documentary "Misafir" (The Guest) was acknowledged by many international festivals, including Cannes, and received numerous awards. He currently makes promotional films, documentaries, movie clips, and commercials through his film production company in Mardin, Ajans Ba.
