Synopsis

İfakat (78) lives with her son Halil (56) who is mentally disabled. It's hard to care for Halil. If İfakat dies Halil will be all alone. Therefore İfakat wants him to die before she does.

Mehmet Emre GÜL

Mehmet Emre Gül was born in 1992 in Ankara, Turkey. After completing both his primary school and high school education in Konya, he graduated from Selçuk University, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema as valedictorian in 2014. He won seven awards for his short documentary film, By the Lake / Gölün Kıyısında (2013). Before Me is his second documentary production.
