About Sheilah KAUFMAN:

Sheilah KaufmanSheilah Kaufman is award-winning author (with Nur Ilkin) of "The Turkish Cookbook: Regional Recipes and Stories, and A Taste of Turkish Cuisine". She has utmost expertise on the culture and cuisines of Turkey. Sheilah Kaufman, for the past 12 years, has been traveling the United States to lecture and/or demonstrate A History of Turkish Cuisine. She also gives lectures on The History of the Jews of Turkey, including at the opening of the Ottoman exhibit at the Textile Museum in Washington, D.C., at the Turkish Embassy.
