Synopsis
The struggle to survive in a shanty town in Istanbul of a couple... The man looses the meaning of his life after the death of his wife who is always preoccupied with seeding; he had no job to do, no land to which he belonged...When Haci Ferman is trying to find a life on a land just like a seed, he hangs between land and machine. There will be no but one place to go back to.
Mujde Arslan
Mujde Arslan was born in 1981 in Mardin. She received her undergraduate degree from Dicle University's Biology Department. She got her master's degree from the Faculty of Communication Department of Cinema, Marmara University. She has worked as a journalist in DIHA (Dicle News Agency), Yedinci Gundem and Gundem newspapers. She received various national and international awards with her firt short film, "The Last Game" (Son Oyun) - Best Short Film Award in the 12th Boston Turkish Festival Documentary and Short Film Competition. Her other films are Nora (short), Tov/The Seed (short), and her first documentary A Fatal Dress: Polygamy. She is also author of the books, "Rejisor Atif Yilmaz", based on interviews made with the legendary Turkish film director late Atif Yilmaz and "Kurdish Cinema.
