Synopsis
The multi-character story has Ali Osman in the centre, an amnesiac, former neighbourhood bully who now owns a small football pitch. When Ali Osman learns that he has a son from his former wife, he goes out to locate him. But it turns out that his son Murat is in trouble. A powerful mobster is in love with Murat's cocaine addict girlfriend, Karaca. This love triangle will push Ali Osman to the depths of past dark days.
Director OMER VARGI
Omer Vargi was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1953. He graduated from the Physical Sciences Department of the Middle East Technical University. In 1974, he began his career in film production with Yilmaz Guney and Serif Goren's Endise (Anxiety) as the first assistant to Serif Goren. He continued his career as First Assistant Director in Bilge Olgac's Bir Gun Mutlaka (One Day for Sure) and Serif Goren's Deprem (Earthquake), Taksi Soforu (Taxi Driver) and Nehir (The River). Vargi began directing commercials in 1977 and has made over 700 commercials to date. In 1982, he became a partner in the Filma-Cass production company and continued to make commercials as well as feature films. He directed his first feature film, Her Sey Cok Guzel Olacak (Everything's Gonna Be Great) in 1998 which was followed by Insaat (Under Construction) in 2003. Kabadayi (Love and Honor) is his third feature film.
