Anatolia is one of the most important crossroads of civilizations, cultures and religions in the history. Archaeological excavations and studies in sites such as Çatalhöyük, Çayönü, Kaletepe, Troy, Hattuşaş have shown that Anatolia has been a fertile ground of many civilizations. The newly found sites like Göbekli Tepe is one such site where around eleven thousand years ago people created an awesome temple on a mountain top.
The exhibition, “Colors of Anatolia”, gives a rare opportunity to view the reflections of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Anatolia and everyday life of the people in this cradle of civilizations. You will have chance to glimpse of the fine examples of folk clothes and accessories to hand-woven kilims, from tools of culinary arts to bathing copper ware, from famous Kütahya ceramics to fine jewelry.
