Emrah OzturkEmrah Ozturk was born on March 10, 1986 in Güzelyurt/Lefkoşa, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He completed his primary and secondary education in Guzelyurt/Lefkosa. He graduated from the Near East University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio-Tv-Cinema. His poems and stories have been published in various newspapers. In 2005 his poem entitled “Walls of Salamis” won the Süleyman Ulucamgil Poetry Award. He has been shooting short films since his second year in the university.
