Ilyas is an eleven-year old soccer fan. He wakes up early every morning to watch the TV cartoon,  “Tsubasa”. He wants to play football like Tsubasa but finds it hard because of the geographical conditions of the village. Just like the geography, his grandmother who does not like television and soccer makes life even harder for Ilyas.

BİLAL KORKUT

Bilal Korkut

Bilal Korkut (Mardin, 1987) graduated from Dicle University Department of Teaching in Turkish Language in 2009. In 2015 he finished his graduate studies in Artuklu University Institute of Kurdology. He directed theater plays, “Komşuyuz” (We are Neighbors), “Kadın Masalları” (Women’s Tales), “Nene ile Tilki” (Granny and the Fox). He is currently a teacher and a student in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Department of Cinema and Television since 2016.
