Zeko is a Syrian refugee in Turkey. He works hard at his job, but his efforts are met with scorn and ridicule from his boss. One day, his boss is injured in a car accident and urgently needs blood. Zeko has the right blood type; will he save his boss or let him die?



Taylan Mintas


Taylan Mintaş (Kars, 1987) is an interdisciplinary artist, film director and script writer. He graduated from Marmara University, Department of Fine Arts Education as an arts teacher in 2012. He has been closely involved with cinema and video arts since 2008. He worked as arts adviser and cinematographer in short films. He made short documentaries for various TV channels. In 2011 he co-directed with Erol Mintaş, also was the director of photography, his first short documentary, “Ucube”. He began shooting his first feature documentary in 2012, which took three years to complete; the post-production still continues. He opened his first solo exhibition of sculpture and video installation in 2012 at “Tütün Deposu”. In 2015 he filmed “Bi Fikrim Var!”, an experimental video art. In 2016 he shot his short film, “0 Rh-“, which he wrote and directed. Also in 2016 he was the director of photography, editor and co-producer of the documentary, “From Space Syria is Here”, for The Guardian. He continues his interdisciplinary work at his private studio in Istanbul.
