Daha Guzel Bir Hayat | A Better Life

Small mountain villages of Karadeniz are one of the places which are mostly affected by the urbanization. Many years ago people left these lands where they could no longer make their living by traditional ways of production to big and bright big cities. They migrated with the hope of a “better life”. Those who stayed behind became older and lonelier as time went by. Already limited means of production and husbandry became less and less. The documentary, A Better Life, looks at this migration, which has been going on for 60 years, by the stories of four different individuals.
