The film is about a village located by Tigris River, which has been endangered of getting submerged and losing all if its cultural heritage because of Ilısu Dam, which is being planned in Hasankeyf. Ali and his friends work as guides for tourists visiting Hasankeyf, a natural wonder. After telling tourists about Hasankeyf and its beauty, kids gather in the football pitch. Each day it gets more and more difficult to find a place to play football because of the rising waterline. Granny Cemile, who stands by the grave, is so sad because of the grave going underwater.



Hasan DemirtasHasan Demirtaş was born in Mardin in 1990. He finished his primary and high school education in Mardin. He played football between 2004 and 2007 at Mardin Sports Club Youth Team. He, later on, participated in national and international social responsibility projects within Mardin Youth and Culture House of where he has been a member since 1999. He was one of the co-founders of the Foundation of Society Volunteers in Mardin (TOG), 2009, where he has been a trainer in democracy and human rights at TOG. For three years, he performed as one of the actors in a play, Stories without Figures, created by the Youth House. He participated in Cinema House workshops organized by Huseyin Kuzu. In 2009, he began attending the School of Physical Education and Sports at Mustafa Kemal University, and then transferred to Marmara University with the same major. He was a member of the directing crew of Derviş Zaim’s movie, The Fish. Currently, he takes scenario and script classes from Derviş Zaim.
