A man living alone in his apartment, finds a screw on his rug. He doesn't think much of it until later on, when he finds a second and then a third screw which puzzles him into a Kafkaesque nightmare.

 

 


Director CAN EVRENOL:

Can Evrenol was born in 1982 in Istanbul. He finished his high school education in the Uskudar American Academy. he is the graduate of joint honors "Film Studies and History of Art" from the University of Kent at Canterbury. Upon his graduation from the University of Kent, he attended an eight-week filmmaking workshop in Los Angeles to have some practical shooting experience for the first time. His very first short film, "Screws", is based on a Turkish short story he read in high school by Sulhi Dolek. Can Evrenol shot his own interpretation of the story and presents the film as a tribute to the Turkish writer.
