I Have Two Countries is a documentary film series about Adrian and Julian, two brothers with Turkish-Norwegian background. The family moves to Turkey for 6 months. How do the kids adapt to Turkish culture? What do they feel about the Turkish school system, and how do they manage to make friends? In 5 episodes, we follow the magical gaze that these brothers have created. In order to get in touch with their new Turkish identity, they keep all their senses open. So everything is possible when you accept that you have two cultures.

 

 

 


Director NEFISE OZKAL LORENTZEN:




Nefise Özkal Lorentzen is a Turkish/Norrwegian film director. She was born in 1964. She received her B.A. degree in Political Science at the Bosphorus University (Istanbul, Turkey), her M.A. degree  in Media and Communication from University of Oslo. In addition to making films, she has also written several books.
