Born and raised in Turkey, Ertug Tüfekçioglu moved to Los Angeles to pursue film. Ertug participated in various independent projects similarly produced and shot in California. Following a break to study in Italy, he returned to Los Angeles to complete the production program at USC. His student film "Zarpa!" was screened in Ann Arbor Film Festival. Since 2004 he has been volunteering as the moderator of the TurksInEntertainment Alliance, which exists to connect Turks to each other and to their foreign colleagues in the entertainment industries of USA, Turkey and rest of the world. His latest works include the short film "Well Sooted" (Gönlümün Isi) and the feature documentary "What If It Could Happen?" (Ya Tutarsa?). |
