with acclaimed chef Ana Sortun, Oleana Restaurant


In this unique event, there will be a rare opportunity to explore mystical spices and herbs used in the Eastern Mediterranean Cuisine accompanied by the samples of Turkish wines. 






In terms of vineyards, Turkey ranks fifth in the world. Wines which will be served are produced from the best domestic wine varieties of Turkey, such as Kalecik Karasi (most popular red wine variety of Turkey with its distinct violet color, full bodied and balanced flavor), Öküzgözü and Bogazkere (two of the best red wine varieties of Turkey), Narince (one of the most important local white wine variety of Turkey) by the Kavaklidere Winery. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to taste the recipes of the award winning chef Ana Sortun, the owner of highly acclaimed restaurant Oleana in Cambridge. She is the recipient of the Best Chef of Northeast Award in 2005 by the James Beard Foundation. Ana will also talk about some of the dishes from her cookbook and autograph her recent book, Spice, during the event.
